Two Sundays a month, from 1 May to 30 September, Le Cyprès Chauve welcomes you to the Domaine des Hayes for a country brunch and barbecue, from 12 pm to 3 pm.
In fine weather you can settle outside on the terrace or in the shade of the great lime tree, feet in the grass. When the weather is less kind, our large light-filled room and its wide bay windows give you an uninterrupted view over the park.
Entirely geared to families: your children can go and play in the children’s house or in the wide open play areas of the park while you enjoy the end of your brunch in peace.

Brunches will then resume in the spring. Until then the restaurant stays open every evening except Wednesday, as well as Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes.
On the buffet
Savoury
Our buffet brings together verrines, a seafood platter, smoked salmon, composed salads, œufs mimosa and mini croque-monsieur. Grilled meats or fish and grilled vegetables are cooked in front of you on the barbecue by the chef.
Sweet
Put together by our pastry chef, our dessert buffet offers choux buns, tarts, panna cotta, tiramisu and chocolate pots — to be enjoyed without moderation.
Drinks
Fresh juices, coffee and tea are included in the brunch. Loire wines, sparkling wines and other drinks are served à la carte, with no set package.
The barbecue joins the brunch
Since this season, the brunch comes with a barbecue lit outdoors. Vegetables from the kitchen garden seared over the embers, cuts of meat grilled to order: the buffet stays cold, the barbecue brings the heat, and dishes come out as they are ready rather than in a single batch.
That is what sets the brunch at Le Cyprès Chauve apart from the buffet formulas found elsewhere in the region — and it is also why it is worth arriving early.
Make the most of the estate!
Tucked away in the heart of the Domaine des Hayes, take your time on the estate once brunch is over. Wander through the forest down to the ponds; a game of table tennis, pétanque or Mölkky is included, so you can make the most of your Sunday.

No, twice a month during the warm season. The last dates for 2026 are Sunday 13 and Sunday 27 September; brunches resume in the spring.

Can we stay in the park after the brunch?
Yes, and that is rather the point: brunch ends at 3 pm and the estate stays open to guests for the whole afternoon. Forest walks, laser game, tennis and pétanque are included. In fine weather the tables are in fact laid outside rather than in the dining room.
